EU 2020 - Going Local Events

23rd April 2012
West Midlands Councils is running three themed events in May and June on climate change and local engagement in policies and plans. These events will be an opportunity to learn of best practice from the West Midlands and Europe, EU funding for projects and to take part in a local site visit.
 
The events will focus on:
 
Energy efficiency (29th May, Austin Court Birmingham)
Renewable energy (31st May, The Courtyard, Hereford)
Sustainable transport (19th June, Coventry Transport Museum)

Focus on You is a new programme designed for employees who are looking to develop themselves and make a difference to the organisation they are in.

The programme has a number of key focus areas which include;
