NRPF Group Minutes & Notes
These minutes archive discussion amongst social care and children's social care leads within the West Midlands concerning individuals who have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). These individuals and families are not entitled to receive welfare benefits, access social housing or receive a range of social care support from Local Authorities.
The group meets bi-monthly and also includes representatives from UKBA and some members of Local Authority asylum support teams.

UASC Group Minutes & Notes
These minutes document the The Local Authority Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) Regional Group's efforts to ensure that refugee and asylum seeking children are able to achieve their potential in a safe, secure and healthy environment. Due to the level of activity and policy initiatives affecting Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, the majority of the Partnership's work has concentrated on this area since 2006. The group provides an opportunity for Local Authorities to consider policy, practice and new legislation as it affects their work with UASCs.
