From Start to Finish - Recruitment Cards
What is it?
From Start to Finish is a card exercise used to represent the different stages of the recruitment process. It comprises 40 individually laminated cards. There are also four additional blank cards which can be adapted for specific internal use.
When could I use it?
It can be used as part of a recruitment and selection training programme or as a 'stand alone' exercise.
How long does it take?
With one person undertaking the exercise it should take between 15 and 30 minutes including feedback and discussion. With teams it should take between 30 minutes and 1 hour dependent on the number of people.
The Process
The exercise is really flexible enabling the facilitator to run it with one group or to split delegates into teams. By the end of this exercise all participants will have indentified both the different stages in the whole recruitment process, and the order in which they are executed.
