Who We Are
The Chairman is Cllr Philip Atkins (Leader, Staffordshire County Council), he is supported by three vice chairs; Cllr Keith Barrow (Leader, Shropshire), Cllr Roger Lawrence (Leader, Wolverhampton) and Cllr Craig Humphrey (Leader, Rugby). The WMC Host Chief Executive is Helen Riley of Staffordshire County Council.
The Secretariat consists of three small teams of people who focus on:
Employers Services - led by Colin Williams working with Michelle Cartwright, Shane O'Callaghan and Carrie Rowberry.
Strategic Coordination - led by Rose Poulter working with; the Coordination Team which consists of Mark Schneider, Sherman Wong, Kate Doogan and Virginie Labourier; the WMEuropean Service Birmingham Office which consists of Ewa Bloch, Abdul Qadir, Katherine Shepherd, Mandy Heard, Sophia Wolsey and Tatiana Panteli; and the WM European Service Brussels Office which consists of Sophie Laine, Stuart Russon, Xenia Tsitiridou, Anna Schober, Jan Urlings and May Guise.
Corporate and Commercial Services - led by Sharon Phillips working with Gurinder Boora, Clive Francis and Palvinder Sall.
