Access to coaching:
There is open access to coaching for all managers in Walsall.
Coaching may be accessed as a result of the individuals EPA (Appraisal) or other review process.
Managers may “self select” as the Coaching Pool is advertised via posters throughout the council, and pool coaches employed within the council may direct potential coachees to the pool.
Managers may also access the pool as a result of participating on internal or external training programmes.
Internal account managers and consultants working with teams around change and re-structure may signpost coaching as an option and refer to the Key contact.

What employees need to do:
Discuss the potential of accessing coaching with their line manager or Key contact to see whether it is right for them
If agreed obtain Coaching Pool Link to select a coach – via Key contact
All those accessing the Coaching Pool should only do so with the knowledge and support of their line manager
