Regional Migration Scoping Exercise
Since 1 April 2007, WMSMP has formally been required by the UK Border Agency of the Home Office, in addition to the overall governance of asylum seeker dispersal and integration services for refugees, to incorporate the needs of new migrant workers.
In order to ensure that WMSMP responds to this mandate, a Scoping Exercise was undertaken by Farhana Darwich (Senior Policy Officer) from the WMSMP Secretariat to make recommendations as to the Regional resources and work required to respond to whatever needs are identified. The Scoping Exercise was completed in December 2007.
