This resource has been developed by WMSMP through the work of its Community Cohesion Regional Implementation Group (RIG).

 

It brings together material developed, adapted and used across the region and more widely for building understanding about the asylum process and the experiences of people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. It also includes material designed to raise awareness, develop practice and challenge attitudes towards those new to our country and communities.

 

The resource is suitable for use with a wide range of groups including professionals and community members and is designed to be used flexibly according to need. Some cohesion RIG members offer training based on the resource and versions of 'The Asylum Game' with all necessary materials included are also being developed.
